Allied Agencies: Parent Liaisons

What is a Parent Liaison?

A parent liaison is a parent of a child with special needs who has received early intervention services.  Each CFC has at least one parent liaison on their staff.  This position is unique in the fact that the parent liaison has had the opportunity to be a family in early intervention.  This not only helps our families, but also helps our coordinators and providers by giving them access to a “parents perspective” in order to keep services family oriented.
