Assists with other functions of the office, including: property tax redemption, vital records certification, marriage/civil union licenses, business under assumed name filings, notary commissions, plat certifications and filings. Transport Officer Provide safe, secure transportation of juveniles to and from the Juvenile Detention Center. Scheduled on-call 24 hours/day for four days and then off for two consecutive 24-hour periods. Incumbent may be paged on off days in extraordinary circumstances. Incumbent will encounter hostile juveniles and be subjected to verbal abuse. Sanitarian Will ensure compliance in order to safeguard the public health through enforcement and education of state, federal, county and city regulatory programs and requirements such as: Food Protection, Private Sewage Disposal Systems, Private Water Supplies, Housing, Lead Poisoning Control, Tanning Salons, etc. Full Time Animal Control Ensures public safety through the enforcement of animal welfare and control codes and ordinances; enforcement of local, state, and federal animal cruelty laws; and conducting of animal bite, cruelty and neglect investigations as required. Must be able to work nights and occasional weekends, and be willing to live or relocate to comply with response time requirements during your scheduled on-call week.
