Peoria County is hosting the Sixth Annual Emergency Expo at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie on June 15, 2011. This event is free and open to the public; great for children & families. Over twenty local emergency agencies are participating by having their large equipment on display for children and adults to view & experience. Come not only to see the equipment, but to the meet the first responders who will answer questions and offer tips for preventing and/or handling emergency situations.
The following emergency equipment will be on display at the Emergency Expo:
- Medical helicopter
- Mounted patrol
- K-9 unit
- Fire trucks, including tanker and brush truck
- Ambulance
- Patrol motorcycles
- Dive Boat
