Job Description:

Provides direct nursing care to the residents.

Job Requirements:

Current Practical Nursing License. One (1) year prior health care experience preferred; CPR certification. Knowledge of Federal and State public health guidelines (OBRA). Ability to administer feeding pumps. suctioning. glucoscan. and Sub-Q. Personal computer experience preferred. Experience and/or education regarding safe patient lifting and transferring techniques including the ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds. Working knowledge of pharmacology (medication. administration. side effects. alternative treatments. etc.)
