County Board: Citizen Survey
Each year Peoria County conducts a National Citizen Survey to gauge citizen opinion of the quality of life and the quality of governmental services in Peoria County. One of the County Board's strategic goals is to be a high performing public organization. The survey helps us achieve this goal by enabling us to better understand and respond to citizens' concerns and desires. The survey is sent to 3000 randomly selected households within the county.
Peoria County uses the results of each survey not only to measure our progress in the future, but also as a tool to further align our Strategic Plan and annual work plans with initiatives or items of importance to the citizens we serve. Peoria County administers this survey as a tool of performance measurement and, more importantly, to help identify service areas in need of improvement.
