DOES MY VOTER REGISTRATION EXPIRE?
Your voter registration does not expire unless you move
or change your name. If you move within Peoria County, you must update your
registration with the County Clerk's office. Your written notice must include
your new address and signature.
Should you change your name, you must re-register under your new name and provide
a new signature.
The County Clerk's office is required to verify the accuracy of the voter rolls.
This is accomplished by mailing notices to all registered voters to confirm
their residency at the address on file.
Should you know of registered voters who have moved or died, please notify the County Clerk's office in writing to help us maintain accurate, up-to-date voter rolls.
