Highway Department: Allen Road / Wilhelm Road Project
The project entails widening Wilhelm Road to 3 lanes from Allen Road to Northtrail Drive, and widening Allen Road to 5 lanes at the Wilhelm intersection. The work on Allen Road will begin at Chase Drive, and transition to 5 lanes. The work on Allen Road will then transition back to 2 lanes at Benton Court. The improvement includes new concrete pavement, curb and gutter, storm sewer, box culverts, and traffic signals at the Wilhelm and Allen intersection. Additionally, a new entrance to Northwoods Community Church will be constructed on Allen Road to help alleviate traffic congestion at the intersection.
