Health Department Increasing Vital Records Fees Beginning May 1, 2008

The Peoria City/County Health Department is increasing the fees for vital records beginning May 1, 2008.

The new fees for certified birth certificates will be $13.75 for a first copy and $6 for each additional copy. The new fees for certified death certificates will be $15.75 for a first copy and $8 for each additional copy. The vital records fee increase is consistent with a recent increase approved by the County Board for obtaining birth and death certificates through the County Clerk's office.
