Application of Interest to Serve on the Board of Health

The Peoria County Board of Health is accepting Applications of Interest to serve as a member on the Board of Health which governs the Peoria City/County Health Department. The Board of Health is responsible for policy issues that guide strategies and activities toward the goals and mission of the Health Department. As Board vacancies occur, applications will be reviewed by the Board of Health and recommendations forwarded to the Peoria County Board Chairman for appointment consideration. Interested applicants should be able to describe any related volunteer or employment experience, express why they are interested in participating as a Board of Health member, and explain any expertise they might contribute as a member.
