What is the Peoria City/County Medical Reserve Corps?
The Peoria City/County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is an all volunteer organization that needs medical and non-medical volunteers during disasters in Peoria County. The training you will receive will prepare you to assist during a disaster and the commitment will not burden your busy schedule. Don’t just sit there wondering what you can do during a disaster. Stand up, grab your pack and help those in greatest need. The Peoria City/County MRC is giving you the opportunity to serve.

These are examples of local, regional, and national disasters that have affected central Illinois in some manner. There is something you can do. Medical and nonmedical volunteers are needed during your community’s greatest need, during a disaster.
