FREE Prostate Screening Events

H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinic Schedule

The Peoria City/County Health Department, along with Methodist Wellmobile and Heartland Community Health Clinic, will be hosting several FREE prostate screening events for Peoria County residents. Any man 50 years of age or older, men 40 years or older who are African-Americans or have a family history of a prostate cancer, are eligible to receive the screening at any of these events.
 
The Methodist Wellmobile will be at the Peoria City/County Health Department, 2116 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on the following dates:
 
            *February 5                  * May 4
            *March 18                    * June 17
            *April 6
 
Along with a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test, cholesterol and glucose screenings will be provided at no cost, so an 8-12 hour fast will be required. To make an appointment for the Wellmobile, register at www.mymethodist.net/events, or please call 679-6131.
 
The Heartland Community Health Clinic will be offering FREE PSA tests and prostate medical exams (DRE) from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at 1701 W. Garden Street, Peoria on the following dates:
 
            *February 5                              *April 2
            *February 12                             *April 16
            *February 19                             *April 23
            *March 5
