Peoria County Sheriff’s Office: Detectives
The Peoria County Sheriff's Police Detective Division reviewed over 11,500 reports over the last year and investigated 1070 of these reported incidents. Five Detectives and one Lieutenant are responsible for investigating everything from runaways to homicides. The Detective Division is housed in the upper level of the Peoria County Sheriff's Office facility, and included interview rooms and Detective cubicle (office) rooms. The Deputies assigned to this Division work both first and second shifts, and a Detective is on call 24 hours per day. The Detectives are supported by administrative personnel who handle record keeping, data entry, records searches and phone calls.
