Echo
Echo, a three-and-one-half-year-old male German Shepherd, joined the Peoria County Sheriff's Office on June 12, 2001. Echo was born and raised in Germany near Ebernhahn. Echo has proofed as a SchH1 and was used in competition prior to his certification for Patrol work. Deputy Todd Foster and Echo received certification in Narcotic Detection, Advanced Obedience and Police Patrol K-9 in Helferskirchen, Germany in June of 2001. When not at work, Echo enjoys playing tug-o-war and chasing his toy.
Andy
Andy vom Wanderer, a three-year-and-nine-month-old male German Shepherd, joined the Peoria County Sheriff's Office on February 23, 2007. Andy was born and raised in Germany and is currently partnered with Deputy Jason Buckley. Deputy Buckley and Andy were trained and certified in the Detection of Narcotics, Advanced Obedience, and Protection Work. Andy is also trained to track criminal suspects, as well as missing persons. When not on Patrol, Andy enjoys playing with his favorite firehouse toy.
Beny
Beny is a two-and-one-half-year-old German Shepard. Beny joined the Peoria County Sheriff's Office in October of 2007. Beny is trained in drug detection, police protection, and tracking. Beny enjoys laying around when he is not at work. Beny's partner is Deputy Jason Briggs.
