EMA Requests Uninsured Flood Damage Information

Jul 28, 2015

Peoria Countys Emergency Management Agency encourages Peoria County homeowners and business owners whose house or business has been affected by flooding since June 7, 2015, to please contact EMA to report any uninsured flood damage. This request applies to property located outside the City of Peoria. Affected home and business owners who qualify - those located outside City of Peoria limits and without flood insurance - may report their flood damage to EMA via email at ema@peoriacounty.org. If more information is required, EMA will contact the property owner.

Peoria County has not been declared a disaster by the Federal government for this summers flooding; therefore, home and business owners should not expect reimbursement or funding as a result of their damage report. However, the information will be useful when reporting back to IEMA a complete and comprehensive damage assessment for Peoria County.
