Peoria County Sheriff’s Office: Records and Clerical Division

Twelve employees are assigned to the Records/Clerical Reception Division. The Records Division maintains and updates criminal arrest records, police files, and does computer entry of police reports. Warrants for arrests are also completed in this department. Records employees are L.E.A.D.S. certified.

Clerical Receptionists answer the Departmental switchboard, accept bond money and process release paperwork for inmates being released from custody. Receptionists also handle visiting, doing the data entry of visitors. Warrants are kept in this area, and hit confirmations are done here. Receptionists are L.E.A.D.S. certified.
