The State's Attorney has the statutory duty to serve the community's need for public safety and welfare by vigorously and justly prosecuting juvenile and adult criminal offenders in Peoria County; to provide for the welfare of children by adjudicating cases of neglected, dependent or abused minors; to provide assistance to victims regarding the criminal justice process by treating them with respect and educating them on becoming effective participants in the process; and to serve the taxpayers' interest in county government by initiating and defending actions on behalf of Peoria County government and officers and providing legal counsel to county departments.

Victim Information and Notification

Victims of crime can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding their offenders custody status and register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when their offenders custody status changes.
