State's Attorney's Office: Traffic Prosecution

The Traffic Division is responsible for the prosecution of violations of the Illinois Vehicle Code. The Traffic Division also handles the prosecution of "conservation" cases, which are offenses under the Fish and Wildlife Code, including hunting, fishing and boating offenses. If you have a traffic case or are witness to a traffic offense, be sure to check our Frequently Asked Questions about traffic cases. Most traffic cases are presently heard in Courtroom 121.  DUI cases are heard in Courtroom 123.
