Live Well Employee Wellness
Peoria County firmly believes that its employees are its greatest asset. In 2008 the Peoria County Employee Wellness Program, Live Well, was created in an effort to improve the quality of life of employees and their families, as well as control healthcare costs.
Wellness offerings are open to all employees and include:
- Health Club Reimbursements
- Healthy Weight Challenges
- Spring Wellness Clinics
- Fall Flu Shot Clinics
- Pedometer Challenges
Beginning in 2013, and each year since, Peoria County Employees challenge our friends at the City of Peoria to track our "mileage" via pedometers in an effort to take posession of the "Walking Stick" trophy. This friendly competition has become a popular event that employees look forward to each year.
